A Dynamic Lobby Shaped
by Culture and Energy
Conceived as the social heart of the hotel, the lobby is designed as a vibrant hospitality environment where culture, movement, and interaction intersect.
Inspired by the evolving energy of Hangzhou and the sensibilities of a new generation of travelers, the design reinterprets local references such as woven textiles, tea landscapes, bamboo craftsmanship, and traditional brickwork through a contemporary lens. Expressive color, layered materials, and carefully composed lighting create an atmosphere that feels lively, welcoming, and distinctly connected to place.
Bold spatial gestures, suspended sculptural elements, and varied material textures encourage gathering, curiosity, and exploration throughout the space. As guests move through the interior, changing perspectives, reflections, and shifting light continuously reshape the experience.
More than a point of arrival, the lobby serves as a social hub and symbolic point of departure — a space designed to inspire connection, discovery, and engagement with the evolving cultural energy of Hangzhou.
